Washington – On Saturday July 2nd, 2011, Vietnamese American Communities in Northeastern Region will rally in front of the Chinese Embassy, 3505 International Place NW, Washington, D.C. 20008, beginning at 11 am and then go to the Vietnamese Embassy, 1233 20th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20036.
They will protest against the Red China’s invasion of the Vietnam’s territorial waters and land, and condemn the Vietnamese Communists for their treason and shameless oppression on dissidents in the country. Also, they want to show their solidarity with their fellow countrymen who are still living under the communist regime.
Participants in these above events are not only Vietnamese Americans in Washington Metropolitan Area, but also from other states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, etc.
